2018

“This year, SCM Group was represented by its official dealer – Intervesp company – at LESPROM-URAL Professional. We have been regularly visiting Ekaterinburg for a number of years, therefore we are able to see that this event attracts interests of both exhibitors and visitors, as well as to assess the local market situation. Last year, our display at LESPROM-URAL Professional consisted in a few machines which were sold directly from the stand. This year, we wanted to offer something new which is not available yet from Asian or European manufacturers. This, our old partner Intervesp displayed the Morbidelli CX 100 (SCM) drilling center which found its new owner on the first day of the fair!”
Mikhail Zaytsev, commercial director at SCM Group - Russia (Italy)

“LESPROM-URAL Professional in Ekaterinburg has left the most positive impression. An exhibition is always a good chance to meet partners and new potential customers, as well as to learn more about the industry trends and demands in the region. The Ural region couldn’t be missed as it is rich with forests, craftsmen and businesses. We took a decision to participate in LESPROM-URAL because after a long crisis the region is now showing a growing interest in buying equipment. In my opinion, the highlight of the fair was the best furniture maker competition. Some of the equipment for the competition was provided by our company and supplied from Italy. It was a great idea to reward the best furniture makers and donate the produced furniture to an orphanage. Regarding the attendance, of course there are never too many visitors - the more people come the better! We wish this fair all the best and next year we are planning to exhibit here again. This decision has been taken by all my colleagues that are present at the stand and supported by our partner company Proektservis represented by it General Director Vladimir Rysev. We will try to convince our other international partners to share their ideas and technologies with Russian woodworkers!“
Natalya Komarova, commercial director at Griggio Centre (Italy)

“Our company has been participating in LESPROM-URAL since 2015. Over the year, the number of visitors has been changing, however our contacts with potential clients have been successful here. Next year we will exhibit here again because it’s an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our equipment and new patented technologies in this region.“
Artyom Fyodorov, marketing manager at Felder Group Russia (Austria)

“We’ve been showcasing our potential at EXPOMEBEL-URAL since 2014. We mostly do it to enhance our brand image. Of course, we’ve had contacts during the event but we need time to see if these contacts could lead to real results. As EXPOMEBEL-URAL is the only fair for the furniture industry in the Ural region, and most precisely in Ekaterinburg where we are based, it goes without saying that we are planning to exhibit here next year again!”
Denis Stavrov, director of STAVROV (Ekaterinburg, Russia)

“This year, our company is back to LESPROM-URAL Professional, and our expectations have been met: as the furniture industry is largely represented at the fair, our stand was mostly visited by furniture manufacturers. We participate in exhibitions quite a lot, and direct contacts are always better than cold emails and calls. And considering the Russian mentality, it’s more efficient to meet people – that’s the market’s feature. You could be in touch by email or phone for a long time, by in the end a face-to-face meeting decides all. And exhibitions are a place to do that.”
Vladimir Vyborov, project manager at Amandus Kahl Russia (Germany)

2017

«The Ural Federal District is considered as a strategic region for the development of the Felder Group in Russia. We assess the attractiveness of a region based on several factors, including dynamics of the woodworking industry, economic and administrative situation, as well as opportunities for developing our business segment. Over 5 years, we have been seeing positive changes in these spheres which enables us to make and implement long-term development plans in this region. In 2016, we had a grown demand for equipment from Ural joinery trades, and we are expecting to increase our market share in 2017».
Andrey Samsonov, CEO, Felder Group Russia

«The Exhibition impressed us in terms of good organization and the number of visitors who came from throughout the Ural region. It was the 3rd time Leuco exhibited in this exhibition together with Alins, our regional partner based in Ekaterinburg. We presented a joint display of the entire range of Leuco products. A separate part of the display was dedicated to maintenance services and production of Leuco equipment in Russia. Considering the result we achieved at LESPROM-URAL Professional this year, Leuco took a decision to exhibit next year again».
Mikhail Erzunov, Leuco manager

«We were happy with the enthusiasm of visitors many of which are professionals interested in our dry kilns. And we ran out of our 150 catalogues on the second day of the exhibition! This is partly an indication of high attendance and appropriate professional visitor campaign led by the exhibition organizers and their media partners, such as LesPromInform magazine. I would describe our target audience as big business managers who have a clear understanding of their goals for the near future. We will definitely take part in the exhibition next year!»
Aleksandr Myagkov, Balt Brand Vostok General Director

«The main task of participation in specialized exhibitions is to promote our equipment and our brand. Some professionals think that regional exhibitions are not effective and the to get result you should to Moscow for Woodex and Lesdrevmash. But I cannot agree with that as my experience at exhibitions in Saint Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk and Ekaterinburg was positive. We believe that it is necessary to travel across Russia’s regions and show the industry’s latest technology and developments to local industry professionals. So, we will keep doing that!»
Vladimir Vyborov, Amandus Kahl Project Manager (Russia)

«We have been exhibiting in EXPOMEBEL-URAL since the show was launched. The exhibition has evolved and grown in front of our eyes. This year, there were many new exhibitors, so we could communicate not only with visitors but also establish interesting contacts with exhibition participants. I would also like to note a certain visitor quality change as our stand visitors had concrete questions and requests and were active in developing solutions for their tasks. We suppose that this is a result of broad communication campaign led by organizers among potential visitors».
Andrey Pronko, PolySOFT Consutling General Director
